Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit's limited edition Biscuit Bash Box was an entertaining-inspired box with thirty of their handmade biscuits in five flavors (buttermilk, sharp cheddar, iced blueberry, cinnamon, and cheese and chive), designed by South Carolina artist, Dorothy Shain. Ideal for gift giving or and entertaining at home, Dorothy’s designs evoke celebration and creativity in the kitchen, with illustrations of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit founder Carrie Morey’s collected china and favorite ways to serve a handmade biscuit.

“Our eatery patrons gravitate to our baker’s dozens of hot little biscuits because they get to taste test all of our handmade flavors. This Biscuit Bash Box was designed to bring that experience home. Dorothy’s illustrations bring excitement and nostalgia to the box, with each drawing developed from recipes we both grew up with (like the biscuit trifle)” said founder Carrie Morey.

The back of the box includes Carrie and Dorothy's tips for effortless entertaining, including how to set the tone from the moment your guests drive up to you home to what to do with those one or two leftover biscuits!

“I drew inspiration for the Biscuit Bash Box from "Wild Raspberries," a limited-edition cookbook published in 1959 and illustrated by Andy Warhol. His drawings were fanciful, playful and downright witty. This box, we like to think, is a modern day version of Warhol's collaboration," Dorothy states.

"Two strong, southern, female entrepreneurs, joining forces to change the world - one biscuit at a time." - Dorothy

"As a lover of travel  + storytelling - I have been a longtime fan of WILDSAM Field Guides. This project's title, "Field Guide to Biscuits" is a nod to the talented company and, what I felt, would be the richest & butteriest collaborative cookbook to take the food industry by storm."

"A cookbook where worlds collide - where food meets art - where you realize that food, cooking & Callie's.....is ART.” – Dorothy Shain.
