Grilled Peaches & Country Ham Biscuit Sliders

Ingredients
- • 3-4 boxes of Buttermilk Biscuits
- • 1 package of Edwards Country Ham
- • 3 peaches, sliced
- • 3 tbsp brown sugar
- • 3 tbsp Carolina Honey
- • Basil leaves
Squeeze out the last of summer with these Grilled Peach and Country Ham Biscuit Sliders! These biscuit bites are a perfectly simple Southern-style appetizer to whip up for the last of your summer soirees. They come together in minutes and are such an easy way to elevate any occasion; just throw them on the grill for a few minutes to reheat our handmade biscuits along with the peaches and country ham.
Sweet, juicy peaches are caramelized on the grill with a small sprinkle of brown sugar, then layered with salty, smoky country ham. All of those delicious summer flavors are sandwiched between a buttery, tender biscuit with a drizzle of honey and fresh herbs to finish it off with a zing! Sweet, salty, smoky, and perfectly summer.

Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium to high heat.
- Wrap biscuits in foil and place over the grill to reheat. Warm for about 20-25 minutes or until warm and tender.
- Once biscuits have been warmed, add a sprinkle of brown sugar to each peach slice. Add to the grill brown sugar side down; once on the grill, add an additional sprinkle of brown sugar. Cook on both sides for about 1 to 2 minutes.
- If desired, heat slices of country ham on the grill for a few minutes each side.
- Once all elements have been prepared, split biscuits in half. Add country ham, peach slices, and a basil leaf to each sandwich. Drizzle with honey before serving.
