Pecan Pie Biscuits

Ingredients

  • • 2 boxes Cinnamon Biscuits
  • • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • • ⅓ cup dark brown sugar
  • • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • • ¼ cup Carolina Honey
  • • 1 cup pecans, chopped & toasted
  • • 8 tbsp butter
  • • Flakey sea salt, optional

During the holiday season, I’m usually juggling a dozen dishes at once, and by the time I get to dessert, I’m ready for something simple. Not everyone in my family is a pie fan (especially when it comes to pecan pie), so I thought, why not give it a little twist?

These Pecan Pie Biscuits have all the sweet, nutty flavor of the classic dessert, baked right into a warm, buttery biscuit. They’re rich, cozy, and just the right amount of indulgent. The best part? They come together in only 15 minutes, so you can have that homemade holiday taste without the extra fuss.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.

  2. Reheat Cinnamon Biscuits according to package instructions. (Wrap in foil, bake thawed biscuits for 14-16 minutes or frozen biscuits for 20-25 minutes).

  3. While biscuits are baking, in a small saucepan, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, brown sugar, heavy cream, honey, and butter. Heat over medium low heat and whisk constantly until a caramelized, syrupy consistency is reached. Remove from heat and add pecans. Mix with a spatula to coat the pecans.

  4. Once biscuits are reheated, remove from the foil and add to a serving platter. Using the back of a small spoon, press a shallow indentation into the tops of each biscuit. Scoop a spoonful of the pecan mixture into the top indentation of each biscuits. Drizzle any extra sauce over all of the biscuits. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of flakey sea salt on top. Enjoy!
