There’s something about summer that brings people together—sunshine, smoky grills, and good food shared outdoors. And when Father's Day rolls around, it’s the perfect excuse to fire up the barbecue and treat Dad to something bold, cheesy, and unforgettable. While John is normally the grill-master of our family, this recipe had me trying my hand at manning the flames. Enter these Pimento Cheese-Stuffed Sliders on Sharp Cheddar Biscuits—a hearty, flavor-packed twist on the classic burger that’s worthy of every backyard celebration.

These sliders are all about indulgence: juicy ground beef patties with a surprise center of creamy pimento cheese, all nestled between warm, buttery Cheddar biscuits fresh off the grill. Whether Dad's a grill master or just there for the food and family, this recipe is guaranteed to impress and satisfy. It’s a little Southern, a little smoky, and a whole lot of summer love on a plate. Fire up the grill and show Dad just how delicious Father's Day can be!

Instructions:

  1. To prepare, take ¼ cup of pimento cheese and divide into 6 even servings. Take each serving and gently roll into a ball, then place the rolled pimento cheese onto a small parchment lined sheet pan or plate. Once all the cheese has been prepared, add the pan/plate to your freezer for at least 1 hour.
  2. Once ready to cook, preheat the grill to medium high, about 425ºF to 450ºF.
  3. Divide ground beef into 6 even servings. Remove pimento cheese balls from the freezer. To add the cheese to the center of the burger, flatten each serving of beef and add the cheese ball. Then carefully form the patty around the cheese. Place the burgers on a plate until grill is ready.
  4. Prepare the biscuits for the grill by removing from the vacuum-sealed packaging and wrapping in foil.
  5. Once the grill is ready, place foil-wrapped frozen biscuits on the grill to reheat for 20-25 minutes.
  6. After the biscuits have been on the grill for about 10-15 minutes, cook the slider patties until desired temperature is reached. About 4-5 minutes per side is a great place to start to melt the cheese center while cooking each burger.
  7. Once biscuits are heated through and sliders are cooked, remove everything from the grill. Slice each biscuit in half and add a patty to each, then garnish with your favorite burger toppings and condiments. Enjoy!
