Savory Boursin & Candied Bacon Crackers

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of Sea Salt Biscuit Crackers
  • 1 package of Boursin cheese (5.3 oz)
  • 1 lb of thick-sliced bacon
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar

During the holiday season, I always want an appetizer that I don’t have to spend hours making. This is the perfect four-ingredient recipe that will have everyone gathered around wondering how you made them.

These savory crackers are crisp, flavorful, and completely irresistible — the kind of snack that disappears faster than you expect. They come together in minutes, require minimal prep, and fit right in on any holiday table, cocktail spread, or cozy night at home. Simple, stress-free, and seriously delicious, this is one appetizer you’ll want to keep in your back pocket all season long.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.

  2. Line the wire rack with crackers in a single layer, slightly spaced out. Take each cracker and spread a small amount of Boursin on one side, replacing each cracker onto the wire rack.

  3. Slice bacon into pieces to fit the size of the biscuit crackers, about an inch wide. Lay one small piece of bacon on top of the dressed crackers.

  4. Sprinkle a pinch of brown sugar over each bacon-covered cracker.

  5. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, checking in often to ensure the bacon does not burn. Once the bacon is fully cooked, remove from the oven. Allow the crackers to cool and for the candied bacon to set before serving. Enjoy!

Hot Little Tip

Add hot honey or a pinch of chili to the brown sugar for a little bit of spice!
