Pimento Cheese Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients

  • • 5 jalapeño poppers
  • • Callie's Hot Little Biscuit fiery pimento cheese
  • • Biscuit bread crumbs

Do you want a really quick Summer appetizer that packs a punch? I’m going to take my pimento cheese and stuff these jalapeños and roast them in the oven. Put a little biscuit bread crumbs on top and you have the perfect summer appetizer!

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Slice the jalapeño poppers horizontally and deseed them
  3. Fill each popper with approximately 2 teaspoons of pimento cheese
  4. Top with biscuit breadcrumbs
  5. Place in oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until tops are golden brown
  6. Turn oven on broil for 1 to 2 minutes

Make Bread Crumbs

  1. Use extra Callie's Hot Little Biscuits
  2. Toast in oven for 10 minutes
  3. Pulse 10 to 15 times in food processor, or until breadcrumbs are fine

Hot Little Tip

Put a little biscuit bread crumbs on top and you have the perfect summer appetizer!
